Addis Ababa National Stadium construction agreement signed

The Ethiopian Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Chinese State Construction Engineering Corporation (CSCEC) have signed an agreement for the construction of Addis Ababa National Stadium. It will cost 2.47 billion Birr to build and is expected to be completed in two and half years.
The stadium fulfils the requirements of FIFA and IAAF to host the opening and closing of World Cup and Olympic Games. It will have the capacity to hold 60,000 spectators and parking space for 10,000 cars.
