Ethiopian Airlines to start Flights to Kano – Nigeria

Ethiopian Airlines has announced the commencement of four weekly flights to Kano, Nigeria, starting 24 May 2014. The flights to Kano will be Ethiopian 4th destination in Nigeria, in addition to Lagos, Abuja and Enugu.

With the start of operations to Kano, Ethiopian will be offering 20 weekly flights to and from four cities in Nigeria, availing seamless and convenient connectivity options for the Nigerian traveling public to the Middle East, Europe, Asia and the Americas. In particular, passengers from Northern Nigerian will be able to enjoy best possible connections, with minimum layover in Addis Ababa, to extensive Ethiopian network covering such destinations as Jeddah, Dubai, Cairo, Khartoum, Beirut, Guangzhou, Hong Kong, Riyadh and Mumbai.

Kano will be the airline’s 49th African and 81st international destination. Ethiopian is a global Pan-African carrier currently serving 80 international destinations across 5 continents with over 200 daily flights, and using the latest technology aircraft such as the B777s and B787s.
