Seven Suspects Arrested Over Conflicts At Hayahulet
Seven individuals have been arrested in connection with conflicts that occurred yesterday in Addis Ababa in connection with religious site.
In a press conference issued today, Engineer Takele Uma, Deputy Mayor of Addis Ababa said two people were killed in the conflict occurred at around Hayahulet.
He said all those who are responsible for the loss of lives will face the full force of law.
He said the city administration has been addressing problems related to land title deeds of religious institutions.
The incident won’t erode the relations between the government and the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church, he added.
