There’s uproar in Somalia because the breakaway state of Somaliland recently signed a deal granting Ethiopia access to the sea. In the Memorandum of Understanding, Somaliland would lease a 20-kilometer stretch of its coastline to neighboring Ethiopia, which is land-locked.
